Holly Princess Crown

This is the Holly Princess Crown.

Princess Crowns handmade

These are the crowns I hand made for those little princess during Christmas. Each crown has been given a name I hope you like them. A creation from Auntie Maria. This is the Candy Cane Princess crown.

Holidays

It seems the Holidays are upon us, for the past two days it's been windy and cold. It sounds odd but truthful, especially here in Las Vegas when we have so much hot weather, just a breeze of wind and we get cold. This time it was really cold. In a way it is good because it brings out the Holiday spirit out. I still have not had a chance to finish that chest with the weather, so during that time I have been doing other things. I built my first display stand that I will share with you in a minute. It is a Christmas stand and I liked it so much that I painted it white and green, I also made some crowns to sell in our up coming Christmas Train Fair that Boulder City puts up every year. I hope a lot of people do come. I will post the announcement as the time gets closer for those who wish to come and visit us, stop by and say hello and hopefully you will like the crafts I will be selling.

Dollies

I have not had any luck in finding lienes so that collection would have to wait.

Dollies

I only have a few in the near future hope to find more to add to my collection.

Dollies

Hello Everyone,

I had not had a chance to finish my chest, it has stain on it and sanding it manually takes a tole on my arm. Yesterday, I went driving around to thrift shops but did not find any treasures to share at this time. So I decided to share with you my small collection of my dollies I have just started collecting these wonderful creations that someone made with there own hands. Hope everyone enjoys them as I have. They are great to look at.

My son Carlos

This is my son Carlos and our doggie Nosie they are both so cute.

Show and Tell Friday!!!

Finally Friday is here where did the week go so fast. Today is show and tell and is being done by "My Romantic Home" by Cindy. I love her style she has such a beautiful and cozy home. My show and tell is on backyard, these are some pics of my husband and son working during the summer getting the soil or I should say Caliche soft. The ground here in Las Vegas is so hard that you can not even stick a shovel in it. Poor guys it was about 115 degrees hot that day. We shall see how it transforms through time. Ciao

Fall Decorations

Good Day to Everyone, It seem the wind stopped so I may continue with the chest I am working on. I do not have much to show you, so I decided to show you some of my decorations around my home.  I had decorated for Holloween but I did it way to early, and my son kept asking me to remove the decorations even though Hollween isn't over yet. So I guess we shall leave that for next year. So here are some Fall decorations I have, Hope you enjoy them as much as do making them. Ciao

Finished Chest

These are the results of my first project I have ever done. The knobs are still missing, I will take a final pic once I find the two missing ones, even with two missing it turned out great. Hope you all like it Ciao.

Prime Chest

This how it looks when it is primed.

Stripped Chest

This is how it looks once you strip the furniture, the stuff I used is Jassco and if you do use it make sure you do wear long sleves, gloves, and shoes that stuff burns I learned the hard way.

First Project

Hello Everyone!
Well here I am on my second day of blogging, have not gotten the hang of things yet but I will please be patient. Yesterday was so windy it was impossable for me to do anything with my fall project. Therefore, today I will show you my first project how I started and it's become an addiction to creat stuff. But don't get me wrong it's a great experience and you get to value more your items this way. Here is the chest I bought for only $10.00 at a thrift store.

Fall Project

http://oohlalacherie.blogspot.com/
My fall project that I would like to share with everyone and see where my treasures will lead me to in life. We found this piece at a thrift store when we were picking up a hutch for my sister that lives over seas. I learned how to paint furniture thanks to "Cindy" from "My Romantic Home". Check out her blog I think it is the best thing I have come across in life she is my "Angel". My first project took me a while but accomplished the Shabby Chic look I wanted. So I hope this one will turn out as nice as the first one. Hope everyone enjoys my blog and follows me as my adventures will start, in creating Shabby Chic furniture for my home. Off I go to start my project by sanding and stripping the chest, hope to here from everyone comments, got to go Ciao...
